Stu Duval - Artist

We were blown away today by the amazing talented Stu Duval. He was able to draw cartoon people from numbers and letters (that is so clever!)... it was cool to listen to him tell us about his new story he is writing at the moment. Below are some pictures of his cartoons and a picture he drew of Piha (it only took him 3 minutes to draw).

Room 8's Rugby Trip to Eden Park

We were lucky enough to win a writing competition through Barfoot and Thompson which gave us a prize of going to the rugby on Saturday the 22nd of September to see Auckland play Wellington. Our students were extremely well behaved and all made excellent cheerleaders for Auckland (that's why we won)! *clap, clap, clap, clap, clap *repeat... Auckland, Auckland, NOW, NOW, NOW! (that was our official chant for the game). Enjoy the following photos.
