First day in Room 8!

What a busy day we had today... I'm not sure where the time went, they do say 'time flies when you're having fun'. Below is a picture of our super class. I hope you guys are remembering to find out the meaning of your names to bring in on Friday.

Music lessons

Hi parents,

For music this term, your children will be learning to play the recorder. The School has purchased a class set of recorders which will be cleaned after use but if you would prefer your child to have their own recorder, they will be needing these in Week 2. You can purchase these at the Warehouse, book stores or music stores.

Welcome to Room 8!!!

Hello students and parents of Room 8. My name is Mel Notley. I live locally and I am married with three school aged children. I have a dog named Olley and a cat called Manu. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I love going to the beach and relaxing with a good book. I believe this year is going to be a great year of growth academically and socially for your children. I look forward to meeting you all at some stage of the year. Please do not hesitate to email me or drop in at some stage to arrange a suitable time to talk about your children and their learning journey.

In the next couple of weeks, we are going to be starting our artwork for the School gala. We will be making kites or place mats from flax and flowers and we will be making aqua jars and miniature gardens. If you are able to help out with donating any of the following items I would be very grateful.
